Rondee Listen-IN

Friday, September 11th, 2009

Someone asked: “I’m setting up an account for my boss and have question regarding muting participants on the conference calls. I cannot find info on that. There are times when he will want invitees in listen mode only. Is this possible?”

The answer is yes.  After you organize the Rondee conference call, you’ll see a “Listen-Only” PIN which you can send out to those participants for whom you want to invite in listen mode only. In other words, Rondee assigns each conference call a Listen-only PIN. Any number of people may call in using this PIN to hear the conference. Like all Rondee conference PINs, this one is private unless you, as the organizer, choose to share it with others.

Rondee assigns each conference call a Listen-only PIN. Any number of people may call in using this PIN to hear the conference. Like all Rondee PINs, this one is private unless you, as the conference organizer, choose to share it with others.

Where do you find the Listen-Only Pin?

As the conference call organizer, you find it on the page dedicated to that specific Rondee. Just log into your account and click on My Rondees and then click on that specific Rondee to see the page.  In the upper left corner you’ll see the  “Listen-Only” Pin.

Using Rondee’s Listen Only Feature for Conference Calls

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008

Rondee assigns each organizer and each invitee their own PIN.

Rondee also assigns a listen-only PIN to just the organizer. Any number of people may call in using this PIN to hear the conference. Like all Rondee PINs, this one is private unless the organizer chooses to share it with others.  What this means for you as the organizer of a Rondee conference call:

1) for the folks you want to participate by listening and speaking: invite them as you normally would using Rondee
2) for the folks you want to attend by listening only: simply email them the listen-only PIN and tell them when to call in

Feature: Listen-only PINs for your free conference calls

Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

Some customers have asked us to provide them with a special PIN that they can distribute to others who would like to listen-in on an ongoing conference call.

We will shortly launch a new feature designed to do just that. On your invitation page, you will now see a “Listen-only PIN”. This PIN is unique to your conference, and it remains private unless you distribute it to others.

Possible uses include investor conference calls and presentations, semi-public meetings and religious services.

Please keep the ideas coming!
