Free Conference Calling Down Under….Rondee Australia

Wednesday, July 1st, 2009

We just got asked: “I live In Darwin Northern Territory Australia.  Can I register for Rondee’s conference call service? I can’t locate Australia on the time zone many thanks”

You can definitely for and use Rondee’s conference calling service.  We do have other Australian users.  However, please keep a couple things in mind.  We currently do not have Australian time-zones so it is necessary to choose a US based time zone such as Eastern Standard Time.  Also, your Australian users would need to make a phone call to the US.  Our dial in number is 619-276-6333 which is a California number.  I believe that many of our Australian users either use Skype or have a very inexpensive foreign dialing plan.

Rondee and Australia

A user asked: “I am in Australia. Do you have a free conference call number in this country for participants to call in to? Can I not put my time zone as outside of the USA?
Thanks.”

At the moment, Rondee’s conference call service  only has a US access number and US timezones.  Our other users from Australia have made the same request as you and we are always exploring new possibilities but for the time-being we do not have this capability.

Is Rondee available in Australia?

The answer is yes!  As long as you (as the organizer) and your call participants have the ability to dial a US based number (619-276-6333) everyone from Australia will be able to use Rondee just like any other user in the world can use Rondee.  Please note that whatever you would normally pay your phone company to dial a US number is exactly what you would pay in this situation.  Rondee does not charge anything for use of our conference calling service.
