Rondee Conference Calls for International Users

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

Currently Rondee only has one access number for conference calls which is 619-276-6333.  This is a California, USA bridge line which means that anybody in the world can participate on a Rondee teleconference as long as they can dial this number.  And we do in fact have folks abroad (e.g. UK, India, Canada and Australia) who are doing exactly that.  At the moment we do not have local bridge access lines for our conferences.

Recording a Rondee Conference Call

Monday, February 23rd, 2009

When you arrange a Rondee conference call you’ll see several boxes with options you can choose. All you need to do is check the box to record the call. Your invitees will be told that the call is being recorded. After the conference call is finished, just go back to Rondee.com (you can get to that page through “My Rondees” link at the top of ths screen once logged into your account; you’ll see a new link for the recording which appears on the page corresponding to that Rondee; you can also get back to that page by clicking on the link in the invitation email)

Scheduling a Rondee Conference Call with Foreign Participants

Friday, February 13th, 2009

When you schedule the Rondee,  it will be in your own time zone and your invitees will be notified that it is in your timezone.
Rondee does not charge for our conference calling service.  Your invitees calling from abroad, however, will need to be able to call a US phone number

Accessing a Rondee Conference Call with Someone Else’s Pin

Thursday, February 12th, 2009

Folks frequently ask if they can do this.  The answer is yes but with one caveat….because Rondee is designed to work on the basis of each individual having their own PIN, you will hear a warning message when you dial in to the conference call with someone else’s Pin.  But it will still allow you access.

Conference Call Timzone Questions

Thursday, February 5th, 2009

Rondee is smart about handling timezone issues.  All Rondees are scheduled in the timezone of the organizer.  How do we know the correct timezone for your conference call?  We know it because to schedule a Rondee you must be logged in as an organizer (either initially or by the time you complete the process) and part of the registration process involves telling Rondee your timezone.

All of your invitees are informed that the conference call will be occurring at the time you specified and with respect to the timezone you have registered.  So if you registered with EST as your zone, your attendees for the teleconference will see the time reported in EST
