Rondee Toll-Free Conference Call Service
1. We understand that sometimes you need a 1-800 number for your conferences
Rondee’s basic service uses California based dial-in numbers and is offered by us at no charge. Your participants are responsible for whatever charges they would normally incur to dial a California number. For those with flat rate plans, they will incur no charges at all. However, we know there are situations where a toll-free conference call number is advantageous and so Rondee offers 1-800 access as a paid service which can be elected on either Scheduled Rondee or On Demand Rondee.
• What does Rondee do?
We don’t charge for our basic conferencing service. We do offer a paid option which features a 1-800 dial-in number for toll-free conference call service.
2. We don’t price gouge you on our toll-free conference call service
Most conference call companies charge an unreasonable amount for toll-free access. The industry average is 11 cents per minute per user and some charge more than 15 cents. These charges bear little relation to the cost of actually providing toll-free conference calling service. Worse, conference organizers are typically forced to choose between all or nothing: either everyone dials in on a toll number or on a toll-free number. Rondee allows participants to dial-in with both types of access, all on the same call!
• What does Rondee do?
Rondee charges a reasonable five cents per minute per user on our toll-free conference calling service. Also, Rondee does not charge for users who dial into a toll-free conference call if they dial in using the regular toll number.
